Lakeshore RV Park, Chelan, WA

On Lake Chelan at the southern edge of the Cascades. There are only a handful of people staying here as it is off-season. That little strip of blue to the left is the lake.

The lake.

Tomorrow morning I'm off on The Lady Of The Lake Cruise to Stahekin on the other end of the lake.

Today I took the boat trip from one end of the lake to the other deep in the Cascades. 10AM to 4PM. "Lake Chelan is a narrow, 55-mile-long lake in Chelan County, northern Washington state. It is the largest natural lake in Washington state."
Overcast weather and light rain made the atmosphere more intimate.

We had a 45 minute layover in Stehekin. There I had lunch. "There is no road access to Stehekin, though several miles of road exist there. It is reachable by passenger ferry, by foot over the Cascade Pass, the Lady of the Lake, or private boat from Chelan, or by floatplane. The vehicles in Stehekin have been barged there on Lake Chelan."

This is Stehekin's waterfall.

This is Chelan Valley with the sun out.

And its river.

I'm working on little projects inside the RV for the rest of my time here. I'll take pictures when I'm finished.
